Facilities
Laboratory
12,000 sq.ft. with total laboratory space of approximately 6,000 sq.ft. This space is reserved strictly for laboratory operations including specimen handling, specimen testing, and technology development.
Freezer
Used for storage of biological specimen freezers, laboratory supplies, and other equipment. All specimens are stored in -80°C freezers. The temperature of the room and each freezer is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via a Phonetic Sensaphone.
Quarantine Facility
Used for storage of reagents and supplies that have been received from vendors and have not undergone laboratory testing procedures to validate performance metrics.
Amplicon-Free Facility
Restricted access laboratory, with a positive pressure airflow system, used for testing procedures requiring amplicon-free environment such as pre-PCR applications.
