Donald Holzworth (Chairman)
CEO of Constella Group
Donald has spent his entire career
supporting contract research efforts for private
and public clients. He has worked for both large
and small research and professional services companies,
in progressively more responsible positions. He
is the founder and CEO of Constella Group, formerly
known as Analytical Sciences, Inc., a professional
services company focused on enhancing human health.
Constella Group has been widely recognized for
its outstanding professional staff and superior
customer service.
Al Childers
President of Administration Cardinal Health
Pharmaceutical Development (formerly Magellan
Laboratories)
Al co-founded Magellan Laboratories
that was acquired by Cardinal Health, a Fortune
19 company, in April 2002. He has remained with
Cardinal Health as the President of Administration
in Pharmaceutical Development.
Prior to Magellan Pharmaceutical Development,
Al was invited to help build the Pharmaceutical
Development Division of Glaxo, Inc. There he built
and directed the Inhalation Analysis Department
and was also responsible for analytical development
of solid and parenteral products.
Adam Abram
President & CEO of Omega Management, Inc.
and CEO of James River Group, Inc.
Adam formed Omega Management, Inc. and James River Group, Inc. He invests
in and operates financial services companies,
including commercial lenders and insurance companies.
Adam also sits on the Board of Visitors for the Sanford
Institute of Public Policy at Duke University
and the Boards of Intelligent Information Systems,
Inc. and the Self-Help Ventures Fund.
Steve McPhail
President & CEO of Expression
Analysis, Inc.
Steve has spent much of his career serving
companies in the diagnostic, biotechnology and
medical device markets. He previously served as
executive vice president and chief operating officer
of ArgoMed, Inc., a Cary, N.C.-based medical device
manufacturer, which served a $3 billion urology
market. Earlier, Steve held senior level
sales, marketing and business development positions
for Xanthon, TriPath Imaging, Dynex Technologies
and Abbott Laboratories. Steve is a long-standing business executive
in North Carolina's biotech community and serves on the boards of the North Carolina Children's Hospital and the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Network for Research and Improvement.
Steven Casey (Secretary)

Business Development Director for the North Carolina Biotechnology Center
Steve founded Expression Analysis, Inc. in 2001 and served as the company's Chief Operating Officer until 2006. He is currently the Director of Business Development at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center where he is responsible for planning, developing, and assessing companies requesting loan support. Previously, Steve managed the Howard
Hughes Medical Institute at Duke University, and he served in the U.S. Air Force for more than twenty years.
