Careers
While Expression Analysis has a professional, achievement-oriented work ethic, we are committed to fostering an enjoyable work environment. What makes us special is our unique blend of talented employees, our participative management style, and a powerful science and business model around which we all have a vested interest. We asked a few of our employees to give us their impression of working at EA. Here is what they had to say…
“We have a positive culture. It’s very open, and you feel like you matter.”
“Our management team has an open door policy. They genuinely care about you.”
“I’ve had so many opportunities to advance.”
Expression Analysis offers several programs to instill a positive work experience. They include the following:
Fridays at 4. That’s when all employees quit working for the week and are invited to participate in a teambuilding activity. It can be anything from a lab presentation to a wine tasting.
Expressions of Appreciation. Whenever someone does something you really appreciate, you can thank them with a special certificate.
National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week. This event, held the 4th week in April each year, helps celebrate the essential contributions of our outstanding laboratory team.
Forced Family Fun. To ensure a pleasurable work atmosphere, EA makes a special effort to plan fun times away from the office. Employees may go to an amusement park, ride go-carts, play baseball, go to a pool party or enjoy a holiday get-together.
Group Outings. Numerous group outings are held throughout the year allowing EA employees and their families to enjoy fun activities while getting to know each other a little better. Recent outings include Carolina Hurricane and Durham Bulls’ games and a cookout hosted by EA’s CEO which included a mean game of full contact pool basketball.
Cure Kids Cancer. EA is supporting a fundraising campaign that gives back to the community. Called “Leave Your Fingerprint on the Cure,” the campaign has asked exhibit participants to help it complete large murals by painting flowers and pinwheels on them, with the artists’ fingerprints at the center of their creations. In return, EA has donated $10 per fingerprint to Cure Kids Cancer, an organization that helps children battling cancer find appropriate hospitals close to home. In total EA has raised over $27,000.
