For the majority of expression profiling studies total cellular RNA is sufficient for analysis, however for some applications the large proportion of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) may impact sensitivity. For these instances the rRNA can be selectively depleted from the specimen using the RiboMinus™ Technology.
