Copy Number Variation Application
The digital array allows simultaneous quantification of both the gene of interest and a reference gene by using a different fluorescent dye for each assay. The ratio of the signal is the relative copy number of the gene of interest in the sample.
Gene Expression
Two versions of dynamic arrays are available: the 96.96 Dynamic Array and the 48.48 Dynamic Array. The 96.96 Dynamic Array allows you to test 96 samples against 96 genes. The 48.48 Dynamic Array enables you to test 48 samples against 48 genes.
Sequencing
The Access Array is a microfluidic chip that has the ability to amplify 48 specific amplicons from 48 unique samples, in effect preparing 48 libraries in just a few hours. The power of the Access Array does not stop with massive throughput capability. Due to the unique design of the Access Array, each sample can be differentially barcoded and tagged at the amplification step, allowing for multiplexing at the sequencing step and completely eliminating the need for traditional library preparation. Access Array is an open platform and as such it can be used on any PCR-based sample preparation application using the reagents and the primers of your choice.
Single Cell Gene Expression
The Dynamic Array enables you to test up to 96 individual cells against 96 genes in a single experiment. Use your existing reagents and assays. Simply sort your cells into a standard 384-well plate and then transfer to the dynamic array. The dynamic array assembles the cDNA material from individual cells and reagents to create individual qPCR reactions.
SNP Genotyping
The Fluidigm 96.96 Dynamic Array – SNP Genotyping – provides the flexibility of a microwell plate and the density of a microarray in one easy-to-use, consumable integrated fluidic circuit (IFC).
