Shipping Specimens
- Complete an Expression Analysis Specimen Submission form and enclose with your specimens.
- All specimens must be sent to Expression Analysis on dry ice. Because of the possibility of delays in shipping, we recommend that you fill the shipment box with as much dry ice as possible to ensure the specimens stay frozen during transit.
- If you are shipping arrays, do not ship these in the same package as the specimens the dry ice will damage them. We recommend shipping arrays in a separate box on wet ice, or blue ice if available.
- Specimens and arrays should be shipped to Expression Analysis using priority overnight delivery (morning delivery) and scheduled for delivery Tuesday through Thursday (excepting holidays or other days traditionally not considered normal workdays). We do not recommend shipping specimens for Friday delivery as any delays from the courier could lead to your specimens sitting in a warehouse over a weekend.
- Expression Analysis does not have a preferred courier, but recommends only using carriers that have a tracking system in place.

- Please send an email notification of shipment with your tracking number to your EA Account Manager, or to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Please put “Specimen Shipment Notification” in the subject line so we will know that your specimens are coming, and will contact the carrier if they do not arrive when scheduled.
